ABOUT US
The Ondo State Ministry of Culture and Tourism was created in December 2004 to develop the tourist potentials of the state and promote its cultural and art Heritage with the view to projecting the state to the outside world as a tourist destination capable of transforming the economic fortune of the state. The take off was enhanced with the acquisition of an existing well facilitated relevant structure (Adegbemile Complex)by the Government in 1987 with facilities such as theatre art hall, film projectors e.t.c.
VISION/MISSION STATEMENT OF THE MINISTRY
Making Ondo State a preferred destination for tourists all over the world through the development of tourist sites.
Development and maintenance of world class tourism centre in the State and taking Ondo State Culture to other parts of the world.
The policy thrust of the State Government on Culture and Tourism is to accelerate the growth and development of the State’s Culture and Tourism potentials in job creation, skill acquisition, youth empowerment and poverty eradication, thereby, turning these heritage treasures into a Tourism Goldmine
