Finance & Administration.
In charge of the entire administration of the Ministry and also servicing other departments. It has the underlisted units/section.
Arts, Museums and Monuments.
Is responsible for promoting the rich cultural heritage of Ondo State through works of arts, crafts and other means of creativity.
Tourism .
Is saddled with the functions of the day-to-day running of all tourism activities in the state.
Culture.
Is saddled with the responsibility for promotion, propagation, presentation and preservation of cultural resources of the people of Ondo State.
The Ondo State Ministry of Culture and Tourism was created in December 2004 to develop the tourist potentials of the state and promote its cultural and art Heritage with the view to projecting the state to the outside world as a tourist destination capable of transforming the economic fortune of the state. The take off was enhanced with the acquisition of an existing well facilitated relevant structure (Adegbemile Complex)by the Government in 1987 with facilities such as theatre art hall, film projectors e.t.c.
